Methodological naturalism…

Many thinkers start out with what has been called methodological naturalism. That is, if you begin with the assumption that the only things that count as legitimate theories are those things that have physical or material explanations, then if someone gives you an argument for design, you don’t actually have to engage the argument, you can exclude it out of hand.
