New Testament fellowship…

New Testament fellowship should be guided by a clear conception of the good life in the New Testament, especially the gospel. This must include a conception of how to grow in that good life, how to spread and defend it among unbelievers, and how to protect ourselves from being conformed to godless ways of thinking, feeling, and behaving. If this is so, then the mutual stimulation of the Christian mind will be a foundational characteristic of New Testament fellowship as we seek to equip each other to be better proclaimers and defenders of the gospel and the Christian worldview in which it is embedded.

What passes for fellowship today…

Frankly, too much of what passes for fellowship today is trite conversation that has no clear goal for its purpose. And when we do meet to study something, all too often we gather to study things that are based in self-help and narcissism and not in trying to be better equipped to spread the gospel of Christ!
