How can we have control over anything if God has complete control over everything? How can God know the future completely if the future is partially up to us?
The Bible does not address these questions directly. However, it does affirm that people often act freely, that they are often responsible for their actions, and also that God is provident. (Sometimes all of these themes are emphasized together in the same passage: see Acts 2:11-26, for example.)
